Class 1

I started brainstorming many different locations/types of places/ themes in Wellington  that I could make into a set of three. First it started off very board and then I narrowed the brainstorm down and made it more specialised by choosing several examples and picking 3 examples within that location to brainstorm and gather more information on. This extended brainstorm meant i could focus more on locations that appealed to me. Tossing up between Worst Student Flats and Markets I decided on Markets as in was too unlikely that I would be able to have access to terrible flats to visit.

Vege Market
Underground Market
Left Bank Market

Independent Study

I went to visit the Markets around Wellington one day at a time. The frustrating thing about them is each of only on one day a week. I went to gather information on all of them. Information being both visual info and quantitative info. This was very helpful in narrowing my 4 markets down to 3 and getting a 'feel' for them all.
